FAQ
What does Runner Time make?
Runner Time produces high-performance fuels for radio-controlled (RC) nitro models, for both on-road and off-road cars. The range includes the FAST, ULTRA and TOP lines in several bottle sizes.
Which fuel should I choose for on-road or off-road?
Every fuel in our catalogue is marked for ON ROAD and OFF ROAD use, and the FAST, ULTRA and TOP lines target different performance needs. If you are unsure, tell us your model, engine and discipline and we will recommend the right product.
What is the nitromethane content of your fuels?
Nitromethane content depends on the product line and its intended market; our EU range is formulated to comply with European regulations. For the exact specification of a given product, please refer to its product page or contact us.
How should I store nitro fuel and how long does it last?
Keep bottles tightly closed and upright, in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from sunlight, heat and ignition sources. Nitro fuel is hygroscopic, so it absorbs moisture: close the cap immediately after use and avoid leaving fuel in the tank between sessions.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Our fuels are sold on a quote basis, because the price depends on product, quantity, packaging and shipping destination. Use the contact form or email us and we will send a tailored quotation.
How are your fuels shipped?
RC nitro fuels are classified as dangerous goods (ADR). They ship by road with compliant packaging and documentation and cannot be sent by air. Delivery options and lead times depend on the destination and are confirmed with your quotation.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Runner Time supplies customers across Europe and beyond. Available destinations, carriers and any local restrictions are confirmed when we prepare your quote.
Are these fuels dangerous to handle?
They contain methanol, which is toxic and highly flammable, and some products contain nitromethane. Always read the Safety Data Sheet before use, handle in a ventilated area away from flames and heat, wear suitable protection and keep the product out of reach of children.
Why is there a regulatory notice on some fuel products?
Nitromethane is a regulated explosives precursor under Regulation (EU) 2019/1148. We formulate and supply our products in accordance with the applicable rules; customers are responsible for lawful use, and suspicious transactions are reported to the competent authorities.
Can you develop a custom fuel?
Yes. Runner Time can develop dedicated blends together with teams and shops. Contact us with your requirements and we will get back to you.
